Guacamole


Guacamole is an avocado-based sauce that originated with the Aztecs in Mexico. It is commonly used in Mexican cuisine and something that I always have in my house!

1 avocado - peeled, pitted, and mashed
1 lime, juiced
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
1/4 cup diced onion
3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1 roma tomato, diced
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 tsp cumin

In a medium bowl, mash together the avocados, lime juice, salt and pepper. Mix in onion, cilantro, tomatoes, and garlic. Stir in cumin. Refrigerate 1 hour for best flavor, or serve immediately.
